Year 6 – History of the women’s vote
In our history learning this afternoon, Year 6 have been developing their understanding of the journey of how women were finally allowed to vote. Children learnt how women started to spoil the census, among other activities as a method of protest. Finally, children constructed a timeline of the significant events.
