Remote Learning

Dear Parents/Carers,

In order to ensure that learning is continued, irrespective of lockdown and self-isolation, we have developed a remote learning plan. This plan offers remote learning opportunities whilst also acknowledging that some households have limited access to devices and would require hard-copies of work and resources.

Your child will be provided with a weekly timetable and activities that will be uploaded onto: Tapestry (EYFS), Class Dojo or MS Teams.  All work must be completed and handed in for marking and feedback. (Online to be handed in daily or weekly if completed in an exercise book and you do not have access to online devices). Work can be emailed to: remotelearning@southwold.nottingham.sch.uk

This plan will be applied in the following instances:

    • An individual is self-isolating because of a positive test within the household;
    • A group of children are self-isolating because of a case of coronavirus in the bubble;
    • A whole bubble or cohort is self-isolating because of an outbreak of coronavirus

The plan complies with the expectations and principles outlined in the DFE document Guidance for Full Opening of Schools.

If you are experiencing any difficulties using remote learning please email remotelearning@southwold.nottingham.sch.uk
