Year 5 – Mini Police
As part of this programme, officers will visit weekly to develop pupils’ understanding of citizenship and to introduce them to the judicial system in England. This is a valuable opportunity for pupils to engage directly with the police and to learn about responsibility, particularly as children in England become increasingly accountable for their actions during Year 5.
In their first session, pupils had the exciting opportunity to explore a police van and learn about the range of equipment used by officers in their daily work.
