Year 3 – Forest Schools

Another wonderful afternoon in Forest School. First, we learnt how to make a timber hitch knot. We used clay to make animal footprints as well as setting a safe trap (with peanut butter!). Hopefully, we will see some little animal footprints when we open the traps on Monday. We also used cold charcoal from last week’s fire to make pencils and made potions in the mud kitchen. To finish off, we toasted apples over the campfire.
