Children In Need

Our Community Rangers planned a variety of activities to raise money to support other children and families in need. They wore bright and fun outfits, took part in a fun run, completed Children in Need maths and art-based activities. Our generous parents kindly donated cakes for our Community Rangers to sell to all classes.

Thank you so much to all of our families for your support.

Harvest Festival Assembly

We are very proud of our Community Rangers led our whole school Harvest Assembly.  They shared that the Harvest Festival is a traditional event celebrating the successful gathering of the year’s crops. It is often celebrated in churches and schools, people are encouraged to donate home-grown produce, fruit and vegetables to those in need.

Thank you very to all our families and staff, who kindly donated food and toiletries for our local church food bank.

Red Nose Day

Well done to our Community Rangers and Mr McArthur for planning a highly entertaining Red Nose Day. We raised funds through our non-uniform day, fun run and cake sale.

Congratulations to the class winners of the joke competition. The jokes were hilarious!

Thank you to all for your generous donations, which will support a range of worthy causes. A special thank you also to our catering team, who baked cakes and brownies for the children.

Children In Need Fundraising

Thank you so much to our Community Rangers for organising our Children in Need Day.  So far we have raised a whopping total of £618.40. Our pupils looked spectacular in their home made t-shirts! Our parents kindly donated cakes to sell and the whole school took part in the Pudsey Fun run.  We had a wonderful day raising funds to make a different to others. Thank you so much for your support.

Day of Action – Kennington Road Litter Pick

Today our Community Rangers and Green Team members supported the Day of Action Litter pick.  With the help of Councillor Pavlos Kotsonis and other community members, we cleaned the local park and streets. Our pupils showed great perseverance and were proud to make oor neighbourhood look great!

Waste Week 2023

Our Community Ranger Leaders shared important information about the need to recycle unwanted toys – did you know that over 80 million Lego bricks end up in landfill each year? Children were invited to bring their old toys into school and swap them for another toy. Their toys found a new home and they have also helped the planet too!
