Year 3 discover the Amesbury Man
Year 3 and 4 have enjoyed an afternoon of discovery in history. We learnt about the Amesbury man who was discovered in 2002. In groups we did 3 activities.
- Conscience Alley where we decided if archaeologists should or should not excavate the grave of the Amesbury man.
- We sketched Stone Age artefacts.
- We excavated the grave of the Amesbury man and thought about what the artefacts tell us about his life.
