TranslateOur child took part in an Allergy Aware Assembly to help them understand how we can all play a part in keeping everyone safe at Southwold.
Children learned about food allergies, why some allergies can be very serious, and the importance of following our school rules: Be Ready, Be Respectful and Be Safe.
We talked about simple ways children can help, including not sharing food, not teasing others about allergies, listening carefully to adults and telling an adult straight away if someone feels unwell.
By learning together, we are helping our children understand that keeping each other safe is everyone’s responsibility. 💙
