Year 5 Space Exploration
In search of answers to their essential question ‘Is anyone out there?’ – Class 5 visited the National Space Centre to learn about the use of robots to explore the surface of Mars.
Working enthusiastically and collaboratively in small groups, children wrote programs to move a rover around Mars and use sensors to detect objects/life forms.
Children showed leadership, great teamwork, problem solving skills and logical thinking to successfully complete challenges.
We certainly have some robotic engineers of the future!
